Job Summary

  • The System Team Lead will oversee the technical operations of the system development team, ensuring the successful design, implementation, and maintenance of systems.
  • This role involves leading a team of engineers and developers, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and driving innovation while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead and mentor a team of system engineers
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

 

Project Management

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of system's daily operation.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and security compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.

 

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application security team.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Present project updates and system performance metrics to leadership.

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Implement best ITIL practices in daily operation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.

 

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure operation.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team lead role.

 

Technical Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of database management and data analytics.
  • Knowledge of Storage Product (Unity, Isilon, Cohesity and HPE StorageEasy Server)
  • Knowledge of Backup Tools (Avamar, Veaam)
  • Knowledge of Windows Servers, Redhat Linux 7.x 8.x, VMware
  • Knowledge of SolarWinds, MS MDE, Symantec Altiris

 

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
