Summary

  • The successful candidate will participate in a Digital Transformation Project for the largest telecommunications company in Hong Kong – by transforming the legacy systems through the latest digital solution on agile architecture to support the customer Experience via innovative functions and features.

 

Job Duties

  • She / He will be responsible for defining software frameworks, development methods and tools to support advanced digital solutions.   
  • She / He will be involved in developing application software and supporting frameworks with the following scope of duties:
    • Assist solution lead to manage the overall solution from technical perspective and support technical design and technical testing by providing guidelines and assistance to enable solution development and implementation.
    • Build and cultivate relationship with stakeholders including users and senior technical individuals from both development teams and user groups.
    • Act as a technical liaison between users, technical teams, and support.
    • Work with other analysts and guide developers to develop and maintain application programs.
    • Ensure smooth development, implementation, migration, and application support of the whole solution.

 

The Person

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 3 - 4 years’ experience in IT profession and the year experience in Telecom Domain will be an advantage.
  • Experience in least 3 of the following skill sets is preferable: Java, Java Spring framework, REST API, XML, PLSQL, C/pro-C, Python, Groovy, Cobol and shell script.
  • Prior exposure to various Billing Applications / Modules for Telecom industry such as CRM integration, CDR Rating, Roaming, OCS, Online Payment, PCI-DSS will be an advantage.
  • Experience in either Oracle BRM or quadient package solution is advantageous.
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
