Summary:
- The bank is seeking for a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Mainframe and COBOL to join their team.
- The role will primarily focus on the development and modernization of their core banking systems, specifically related to CASA, Deposits, Time Deposits, and other related functionalities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to modernize and enhance Core Banking Systems, utilizing Mainframe and COBOL technologies.
- Develop new back-end functions and features, ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our banking systems.
- Participate in BAU change projects, making necessary modifications and improvements to the existing systems.
- Test logging, planning, and tracking during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and Operations to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to core banking systems.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in back-end development, specifically in Core Banking systems.
- Proficiency in Mainframe technologies, including COBOL.
- Solid understanding of CASA, Deposits, Time Deposits, and related Banking functionalities.
- Experience in System modernization and development of new back-end functions.
- Familiarity with JIRA for test logging, planning, and tracking purposes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
