Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first- and second-line support for SAP-related issues, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving system problems.
  • Collaborate with the corporate SAP group to perform monthly release testing and validate system updates.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and resolve SAP support issues in a timely manner.
  • Document support cases, resolutions, and processes to maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
  • Communicate effectively with end-users to understand their needs and provide clear, actionable solutions.
  • Assist in training users and creating user guides to enhance system adoption and efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize SAP functionality.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 - 3 years as an SAP Consultant, with hands-on experience in SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, or equivalent).
  • Customer Service: Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service, with a focus on user satisfaction and clear communication.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex SAP issues.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese to support local and regional stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Integration Tools: Familiarity with SAP integration tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO or CPI) to troubleshoot connectivity issues between SAP and other systems.
  • Change Management: Experience with change management processes to support smooth implementation of SAP updates during monthly releases.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze SAP data logs and reports to identify trends or recurring issues.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on support priorities.
  • Stress Resilience: Ability to remain calm under pressure, especially during critical system downtimes or tight testing schedules.

  • Proactive Learning: A self-starter with a willingness to stay updated on SAP advancements and pursue relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Associate).
