Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, end-to-end processes, and integration solutions, leveraging business analysis techniques such as requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis
  • Investigate and troubleshoot integration and configuration issues in Maximo or similar large-scale systems, identifying root causes, proposing solutions, and supporting system performance through basic configuration and testing
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including 3rd party vendors, to understand functional and technical issues, contribute to resolution efforts, and assist in quality assurance on deliverables
  • Analyze business processes and system workflows, identify opportunities for optimization, and collaborate with SMEs to recommend configuration changes or simple customizations in enterprise systems
  • Report progress on technical resolutions, project milestones, and business impacts to project leads and stakeholders
  • Support Maximo implementation best practices, including basic customization, workflow automation, and integration strategies; perform hands-on configuration, scripting, and light development tasks as needed to aid digitalization projects, such as form enhancements
  • Develop and maintain simple scripts, automations, or custom code (e.g., using JavaScript, SQL, or Java) to support business analysis outputs, testing, and integration prototypes for Maximo or similar systems

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 4-6 years’ relevant practical experience in enterprise systems implementation, integration, or business analysis projects
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in business analysis within relevant business domains, including asset management, financial accounting, project management, or engineering; demonstrated skills in requirements elicitation, process modeling (e.g., BPMN, UML), stakeholder management, and process improvement
  • Preference for foundational knowledge of IBM Maximo (e.g., configuration, customization, integration concepts) or experience supporting other large-scale enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle ERP, Infor, or Microsoft Dynamics; hands-on experience not required but a plus
  • Basic to intermediate coding capability, including proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, SQL) and familiarity with development tools for automation and prototyping; ability to contribute to simple custom developments for system enhancements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to review, validate, and troubleshoot business and technical requirements, offering practical recommendations
  • Highly motivated team player with the ability to work independently and contribute to project success
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese

 

Additional Skill Requirements

  • EAMS Maximo Core Functional Knowledge (conceptual understanding preferred; practical exposure a plus)
  • Familiarity with development environments for enterprise systems (e.g., Eclipse for Java-based tools, basic API integration)
