Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 18:00 / Sat: 09:00 - 13:00 (Alt. Weeks)
Job Responsibilities:
Site Work Coordination & Management:
- Coordinate and supervise day-to-day site installation & maintenance for telecommunication systems (PABX, MDF/IDF, cross-connection, and structured cabling).
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, sub-contractors, IT teams, and vendors to ensure project milestones and site safety requirements are met.
Team Enablement & Skill Upgrading:
- Serve as a technical mentor/coach to enable and upskill existing field engineers (with PC/IT/Network background) in PABX, key telephone systems, and traditional voice infrastructure.
- Develop technical guides, site procedures, and conduct hands-on training for the field team.
Technical & Drafting Deliverables:
- Prepare and update project documentation, including As-built drawings, schematic diagrams, and containment layouts using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Review site requirements, cable route design, and ensure compliance with technical specifications and local electrical/telecom standards.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support:
- Provide technical support for PABX integration, trunk lines (E1/T1/Analog/SIP), and MDF wiring.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in site management, telecom/PABX installation, or IT infrastructure projects.
Technical Skills:
- Good understanding of PC/IT network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Ethernet, Structured Cabling) to bridge PC engineers into the telecom domain.
- Hands-on experience in PABX systems (e.g., Avaya, Alcatel, NEC, Mitel or IP-PBX) and traditional voice distribution frames (MDF / Krone Blocks) is an advantage
- Proficient in AutoCAD or any similiar for drafting schematics, cabling routes, and rack elevation layouts.
Certifications & Licenses (Preferred / Plus):
- Holder of Registration of Electrical Worker (Grade A / B) (A/B級電工牌) is preferred
- Relevant telecom or IT certifications (e.g., Avaya Certified, CCNA) is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills to mentor Junior / Field Engineers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivated, and capable of working independently under pressure.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
